LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) received a call at approximately 10:35 a.m. today, July 2, reporting a traffic accident involving a sedan versus an Atomic City Transit Bus.

The accident took place near the guard shack at East/West Jemez and resulted in minor injuries.

LAPD, Los Alamos Fire Department, and Los Alamos National Laboratory personnel responded to the scene.

Due to the size of the bus, there will be delays until the vehicle can be towed and cleaned up. LAPD estimates that the scene should be clear by around 2 p.m., and thanks motorists for their patience when commuting.
