TPTI News:

Sunday, July 9, TIBBAR Plasma Technologies, Inc. (TPTI) will host a ScienceFest open house 1-4 p.m. at 274 DP Road.

Three events will be happening simultaneously during the open house. This is an opportunity to see a modern plasma physics in operation.

They will be making plasma discharges and taking data:

  1.     Emissions-free businesses and homes

TPTI has been an emissions-free business since 2020. More recently they have taken their home emissions free as well. There will be a short presentation on how this was done, how it works, how much it costs and how it is saving them money.

  1. Nuclear-fusion rockets for space exploration

One major problem with exploring Mars is that conventional chemical rockets take to long to get there. This exposes astronauts to large levels of radiation. TPTI are working on a nuclear-fusion-fueled rocket to address this problem. The physics of this new system will be presented, followed by a tour of their plasma laboratory.

  1. Ts to Teslas:  A century of automobiles

Seven vehicles spanning eleven decades will be displayed.

See how automotive technology has evolved over the past 100 years. Two modern electric vehicles (EVs) along with their charging stations are included in the display.

Done in collaboration with Preventech Automotive.
