The SALA Events Center announces ScienceFest at SALA, a day dedicated to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities, taking place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 13.
This event promises a day full of interactive and immersive experiences suitable for all ages.
STEMarts Activities:
- VR Exploration: Participants can explore the cosmos with Oculus headsets, diving into the wonders of the universe.
- 3D VR Painting: Attendees can unleash their creativity by creating and projecting 3D art in real-time.
- AR Sky Hunt: An augmented reality adventure where participants can find geo-tagged space objects projected in the SALA lobby.
Fractal Foundation Activities:
- Interactive Fractal Stations: Discover the intricate beauty of fractals using computers and iPads connected to a projector in the lobby.
- Fractal Presentations: Engaging presentations on fractals at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Glowing Fractal Balloon Display: At 8:30 p.m., enjoy a spectacular show featuring a glowing balloon and projection mapping on the SALA building.
ScienceFest at SALA is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity to experience the future of technology and science. Bring your family and friends for a day filled with discovery, creativity, and fun!
