Also honored at the May 13 School Board meeting were members of the the Los Alamos High School Chess Team Daniel Dunning, Jack Mockler and Michael Brown.
The team won its first ever national team trophy at the 2013 SuperNationals. The tournament included more than 5,300 participants.
The staff of the LAHS Year Book was honored for excellence. The yearbook was featured in the Jostens 2013 “Look Book” that presents the best annual yearbook designs.
