The Los Alamos High School Topper Softball Team traveled to Pojoaque to play the Elkettes Wednesday afternoon at the Pojoaque High School softball field.
The Toppers started out slow as the Elkettes put up 3 runs in the first inning. The Toppers came back in the 3rd inning to tie the game.
The Elkettes had a big 6th inning putting up 4 runs to secure the win 8-6.
This brings the Toppers to 3-9 over-all and 2-3 in district play.
