The Los Alamos High School Topper Varsity Hockey Team hosted the Telluride Miners for two home games this weekend at the Los Alamos County Ice Rink.

The Toppers looked very good against the tuff Miners in their first match Friday night – jumping out to an early lead with a quick goal in the first period.

The team racked up 3 goals for the game to win 3-1 over the Miners.

Saturday’s game looked like the Toppers would collect another win, but the Miners had different plans and managed to score 3 unanswered goals to take a 4-2 win.
