SPORTS News:

The Topper Boys soccer team battled the Taos Tigers in a contest Monday evening on Sullivan Field.

The Tigers are always tough on the field and Monday evening was no exception. Their defense was able to keep the Toppers out of scoring position for most of the game allowing just one Topper score late in the match.

The Tiger offense played much of the match in front of the Topper goal, but the Topper defense held the Tigers to only two goals. The Tigers won the match 2-1.

The next outing for the Toppers is 4 p.m. Thursday, April 1 in Taos.
