Julian Garza and his daughter Clementina Garza welcomed guests at this morning’s special VIP opening of their new McDonald’s Restaurant in the Smith’s Marketplace Shopping Center. The restaurant officially opened for business to the public at 10:30 a.m. today. Julian Garza has been in the McDonald’s Restaurant business for more than 30 years and his daughter, who grew up in the business, joined him 25 years ago. The family owns the largest McDonald’s Restaurant in New Mexico, which is in Espanola. Their new Los Alamos restaurant is filled with the most cutting edge technology in the state including video game table tops and state of the art ordering stations.
