SPORTS News:

Athletes competed in the Los Alamos Special Olympics Track and Field Meet Saturday at Sullivan Field.

Several volunteers helped work the event and Los Alamos Firefighters also assisted and placed ribbons on athletes at the conclusion of their events.

The Los Alamos Police Department helps raise money for local Special Olympic athletes through T-shirt sales and donations. 

The LAPD will be running the torch May 28 from the Los Alamos Police Department to Jemez Springs to help raise awareness and support for Special Olympics.
