Visitors have poured into the Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos during the three day ScienceFest festival that began Thursday.
People of all ages participated in interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities and listened to dynamic speakers meant to engage kids, families, and individuals who are interested in life-long learning of science, technology, engineering and math.
A Bradbury Science Museum docent said Saturday that some 550 visitors came to the museum on Friday alone compared to a typical number of 350 visitors. Many of Friday’s out of town visitors said it was the ScienceFest promotions that drew them to the hill.
Museum Hours:
- Tuesday-Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday and Monday: 1-5 p.m.
The Museum is open to the public every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
