Los Alamos Farmers Market News:

The Los Alamos Farmers Market is open 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today and every Thursday through October at Ashley Pond Park.

There also is a Saturday market 8 a.m. to noon at the Justice Center parking lot that runs through September.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, extra precautions are implemented at these markets in accordance with the state and New Mexico Farmers Market Association.

These precautions include:

  • Proper distancing between booths;
  • Food pre-bagged for pickup;
  • Masks and gloves for all food handling;
  • Other measures that minimize touch points;
  • Los Alamos Farmers Market is providing locally made hand sanitizer to each booth; and
  • An electric hand washing station is available to the public.

The public also is encouraged to wear masks when visiting the market.
