LLA News:

The Leadership Los Alamos (LLA) Class of 2022 met Nov. 19 for its second session “Youth And Resilience”.

Co-chairs for the youth session included Los Alamos Teen Center Director George Marsden, a graduate of LLA Class of 2016 and Los Alamos Public Schools Healthy Schools Director Kristine Coblentz, a graduate of LLA Class of 2012.

Guest presenters for the session included Executive Director Ellen Specter and Home Visitor Giselle Martinez of the Los Alamos First Born Program, Child Development Director Jamie Allbach of The Family YMCA and LAPS Pre-K Program Director Gina Terrazas. Los Alamos County Library Youth Services staff Joy Charles and Gabriella Tepley discussed youth literature and stories of resilience.

Leadership Los Alamos is a non-profit organization whose mission is to identify current and emerging leaders in Los Alamos and surrounding communities, to enhance their leadership skills and deepen their knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing the community.
