Scenes From LAHS Girls Cross Country Team Practice

Los Alamos High School Girls Cross Country Coach Kathy Hipwood speaks Wednesday with athlete Kamaya Ronning before beginning warm ups. The team practices around Los Alamos and this practice is on the road below Anderson Overlook. Each pod covers about 5 miles including some hill surges and long intervals. The team was scheduled to compete at Rio Ranch High School Saturday in Albuquerque, but the meet was canceled per governor’s heath emergency orders – a huge disappointment for the team.
