Scenes From Day 3 Of USATF National Championships

Los Alamos native Chase Ealey acknowledges the 8,965 cheering fans in attendance Saturday during introductions for the women’s shot put event on Day 3 of the USA Track & Field National Championships underway in Eugene, Ore. He said Day 3 did not disappoint with meet records, personal bests and world leading times posted in numerous events. Ealey had a good showing in the shot put event, just missing the podium with a 4th place finish. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone set a personal best, meet record and world leading time of 48.74 in the 400m dash. Sha’Carri Richardson ran a 21.61 in the 200m, qualifying first for the semi-finals today. Limback said Day 4 is poised to bring more track & field excitement with finals in the 100m hurdles, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 200m, 800m and multiple field events.
