Scene from Saturday’s 2026 Los Alamos Kite Festival, hosted this weekend by the Los Alamos Arts Council in Dara Jones Field at Overlook Park in White Rock. This is the 30th annual Kite Festival and is sponsored by Century Bank. Today’s event will include: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. kite building workshops with volunteers, 1-3 p.m. self-guided workshops, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. flying, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. kite hospitals will be open for business.
