Santa Fe Symphony News:
The Santa Fe Symphony will present its highly anticipated Choral Masterworks performance, 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 at Santa Fe’s iconic Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
Choral Director Carmen Flórez-Mansi will lead the angelic voices of the Symphony Chorus for this uplifting program with piano accompaniment by Collaborative Pianist Paul Roth.
All ages are welcome. The doors open at 2:15 p.m., admission is free and tickets are not required – attendees are asked to pay what they wish.
The community is invited to hear some of the most beautiful Latin American choral works ever written, including Ariel Ramirez’ Misa Criolla, Nico Gutierrez’ Amo, Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Bendita Sabedoria and Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5, Mvmt. 1, and other choral masterworks with featured soloists: Katherine Keener, Soprano; Kehar Koslowsky, Mezzo-Soprano; Carlos Vazquez Baur, Tenor; Caleb Heaton, Bass; and Devin DeVargas, Bass.
