Alexis Johnson is a fiscal and social conservative, a consultant in engineering, a rancher, and a mother who is pro-life and a strong believer in the U.S. Constitution.
Born and raised in southeastern New Mexico, Johnson is now raising a family of her own with her husband Chris in Santa Fe, and she understands the challenges faced every day by New Mexican families.
Johnson is a proud New Mexican who believes in “New Mexico First” principles: protecting and advocating for the interests of working New Mexicans.
She is running as a Republican for the U.S. House of Representatives representing New Mexico Congressional District 3.
A graduate of New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, eighth best engineering university in the United States, Johnson worked in environmental engineering as a liaison in the Permian Basin, helping private business and government entities reach solutions to complex technical and social challenges.
Johnson understands the significant energy resources of the Permian and San Juan Basins and their importance to the economy of New Mexico and the national security of the United States. As a U.S. Representative, Johnson will work to ensure that federal legislation is enacted, which will protect, maintain and maximize the economic benefit of the oil and gas industry in New Mexico and greater U.S, responsibly.
Johnson is not a politician but will work every day for the great people of New Mexico as a congresswoman in Washington, D.C. She has the track record, experience and qualifications to lead New Mexico forward.
