This morning the Santa National Forest launched a new website. The forest’s new web address is:http://fs.usda.gov/santafe.

The Santa Fe National Forest is one of the five National Forests in New Mexico.

National Forests are America’s great outdoors, here to serve the American people at work and play.

Some of the finest mountain scenery in the Southwest is found in the 1.6 million acre Santa Fe National Forest.

Elevations rise from 5,300 to 13,103 feet at the summit of Truchas Peak, located within the Pecos Wilderness.

The Forest’s headquarters is located in Santa Fe, with six Ranger Stations including Coyote, Cuba, Jemez, Pecos, Las Vegas, and Española, and two satellite offices in Los Alamos and in Jemez Pueblo—Walatowa Visitor Center.
