Santa Fe Indian School Closes For Remainder Of Year

SFIS News:

SANTA FE — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Fe Indian School (SFIS) Board of Trustees has voted unanimously that the SFIS campus will remain closed for the remainder of the academic year.

The Board and Superintendent Roy Herrera stress the importance of the health and safety of students, parents, staff and community members.

Although the SFIS Campus is closed, the Board and school staff remain committed to implementing the SFIS Learning Enrichment Plan to provide continuous learning enrichment for all its students through the end of SY 2019-20 so they may promote to the next grade level, earn necessary credits and/or graduate.

An update will be sent out within the next few weeks in terms of credits, graduation and ceremony, regular summer programing (summer school, Summer Policy Academy, Health Careers Academy, etc. In the meantime, students are encouraged to continue with their learning via the Google Classrooms and mailed materials.
