SFCHA News:
The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA), in collaboration with Los Alamos County Social Services and Housing departments, has announced its 2025 meeting schedule for residents of Los Alamos seeking assistance with the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, also known as Section 8.
Residents can connect with SFCHA representatives once a month on the third Wednesday of each month throughout the year, to receive information, guidance and support with the HCV program.
The specific dates and times for meetings in Los Alamos are highlighted on the attached calendar.
Two options are available at County Social Services offices 1183 Diamond Drive, Suite E:
- Walk-in twice monthly on Wednesdays: Drop by anytime 10 a.m. to noon for immediate assistance. Walk-in appointments will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis and may require an extended wait; and
- Schedule an appointment monthly on Wednesday: To ensure personalized attention, schedule an appointment 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in advance.
