SALA Los Alamos Event Center announces a week of fun-filled events that are sure to delight visitors of all ages. From Wednesday through Sunday, SALA will host a range of programs and movies, with something for everyone.

Today the After School Program will take place 1-5 p.m., providing kids with a chance to enjoy games on the big screen and arcade games. The talent contest, “Los Alamos Got Talent” will also be held at the same time, and we encourage all elementary students to participate. In addition, the first-run movie “Shazam” will be screened at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. today.

Thursday, SALA will show the movie “The Glorias” as part of its Parallel Cinema program, themed “Women” in honor of International Women’s Month. There also will be showings of “Shazam” at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Friday will feature showings of “Shazam” at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Saturday morning will kick off with “PJ’s and Cartoons” at 9 a.m., followed by showings of “Shazam” at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. To cap off the day, SALA will screen the classic movie “Erin Brockovich” paying tribute to women’s courage.

Sunday, there will be showings of “Shazam” at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

“We are excited to offer a week full of diverse events that cater to different interests,” a SALA spokesperson said. “We hope to provide our visitors with a memorable experience that they will cherish for years to come.”
