Rotary Hosts ‘Brews, Band And BBQ’ At The Tub Saturday

The community is invited to attend the Rotary Club of Los Alamos summer fundraiser “Brews, Band and BBQ” featuring the music of MANZANARES, 5 p.m. Saturday at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op in Central Park Square.

A $50 ticket purchased online will buy a BBQ dinner of brisket, pork, chicken, sausage and sides provided by BR Brand Catering of Santa Fe, and a pint of beer in a specialty glass that attendees can keep. Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

BBQ won’t be the only thing sizzling, though. MANZANARES, the high-energy band with its fiery Nuevo Latino sound, will play throughout the evening and is sure to have everyone on their feet.

There also will be a paddle raise and live auction of five to six exclusive items, including a stay in Pagosa Springs, wine dinner from Pig + Fig, and a ride-along in a police car with a Los Alamos police officer.

Funds raised will combat food insecurity in Northern New Mexico through Meals of Hope (https://mealsofhope.org/), benefit the Navajo Nation by providing food, water, cleaning and sanitation supplies, and support other community service projects and scholarships of the local Rotary Club.
