Rotarian Phil Dabney, chairman of the Rotary Club’s scholarship committee, was on hand recently to congratulate Ben Rees, a graduating senior, on receiving one of the Club’s two Service Awards. Ruby Selvage was the recipient of the other award given and was previously recognized at another meeting. In keeping with the Rotary motto, ‘Service Above Self’, the club established this scholarship to recognize personal service and the student’s understanding of the role of service in the world.
