Robert (Bob) Joseph was promoted Friday to Senior Vice President-Wealth Advisor Manager at Enterprise Bank & Trust.

“I’ve been working in the financial services field for 38 years, I love the fact that things are constantly changing, new investment products, the markets, you are constantly learning but the thing I love most about my job is that it is one of the few professions where you can really make a difference in a person’s life,” Joseph said. “It doesn’t get any better than that.”

The thing Joseph likes the most about working at Enterprise Bank is the people, he said.

“Every day I get the opportunity to work with people who love what they do and strive to give our clients and customers the best service and the best banking and investment experience,” he said.

In his new position, Joseph has responsibilities for wealth advisors in four states.

“My challenge is making sure that I can spend the time working with my team and making sure that they feel like I am in the office right next door and they are getting all the tools they need to be successful and take care of their client’s,” he said.

Los Alamos Region President Liddie Martinez met Joseph her first day on the job in 2016.

“Bob was one of the first friends who ushered me into the banking world when I first started my banking career at LANB,” Martinez said. “He is an awesome mentor, an expert in wealth management and a gracious colleague who is always ready to lead or be part of a team. Our customers are at ease with him because he is patient when sharing complex insights and a great supporter when you are making difficult decisions. We are so fortunate to have him leading our wealth team.”

Joseph started his career in 1986 in Phoenix, Ariz. as an advisor, and moved to California to run four offices in the southern California market. In 1990 he moved to Houston to serve as V.P. Sales & Marketing Manager for a national broker-dealer with 2,200 advisors. Joseph came to New Mexico in 1994 and had his own practice in Los Alamos for 11 years. He was a partner at New York Life before returning to Los Alamos and joining the bank where he has worked for the last 13 years.
