NMDOT News:
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin a pavement preservation project on approximately 2.5 miles of NM 4 in Jemez Pueblo Sept. 15, 2025, weather permitting.
Roadwork will take place from mile marker 4.5 to 7.2 through the Pueblo of Jemez.
Work is expected to be completed by mid-October, weather permitting. Brasier Asphalt, the contractor for the District Six project, will perform work between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A pilot car and flagger operation will be in place. Drivers should expect lane closures, delays, and plan travel accordingly.
