Richard P. Feynman Center for Innovation Tech Rev Day: Call for Presenters

LANL News:

Do you have an innovative topic you are passionate about? Would you like to share it with your community? This is your opportunity!

As one of the first patent holders at the Laboratory, scientist Richard P. Feynman was defined by his creative approach to problem solving, unconventional perspective, and ability to communicate with flair. The goal of The Richard P. Feynman Center for Innovation (FCI) is to use Feynman’s legacy to develop new ways to collaborate and inspire the transition of ideas to execution.

FCI is sponsoring the first Feynman Tech Rev Day 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 11 at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos. This is an opportunity for students, educators, engineers, scientists, marketers, communicators, artists, bloggers, techies, executives, inventors and creative people like you to share your ideas and expertise. FCI expects a full day of Tech Rev Day speakers who will each have 15 minutes to convey their innovative ideas. We are looking for a diverse set of topics and tones (serious and fun) so feel free to be creative.

To be considered as one of our Feynman Tech Rev Day presenters, please send the following to Shandra Clow at clow@lanl.gov:

  • The title of your presentation
  • A 140 character description of your presentation
  • Short bio and headshot of yourself

The deadline for submissions is Aug. 8. A selection committee will review submissions and successful applicants will be notified by Aug. 22 via email.
