REVEL To Host First-Ever ‘Love Life ALS Stunt Carnival’

REVEL News:

ALBUQUERQUE — REVEL will host the first-ever “Love Life ALS Stunt Carnival Saturday, Oct. 4, at 4720 Alexander Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, bringing together stunts, live entertainment, and community activities to raise awareness and support for families impacted by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The event will feature Glenn Allen Love Jr., a former UCLA and Canadian Football League player turned Hollywood stunt performer. All proceeds from the event will go to the Love Life ALS Foundation.

In July 2024, the day after celebrating his daughter’s first birthday, Love — then just 35 years old — was diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the ability of the brain to control muscles. More than 30,000 Americans are living with ALS and there is no cure. Love founded the Love Life ALS Foundation to raise awareness, provide education, and support affected families across North America.

“ALS took away some of the control I once had as an athlete and performer, but it hasn’t taken away my fight,” Love said. “This Stunt Carnival is more than just a show — it’s a movement. It’s about turning fear into courage, struggle into hope, and bringing this community together to make sure families facing ALS know they’re not alone.”

The connection between Love and REVEL runs deeper than the stage. Daniel “Danny” Chavez, owner of REVEL, also comes from the stunt and film industry.

“When Glenn shared his story, I saw not only a fellow stuntman but a father, an athlete, and a fighter,” Chavez said. “That’s why this Stunt Carnival is so meaningful. At REVEL, we believe entertainment should bring people together and make a difference. We’re proud to host Glenn and ensure that every single dollar raised goes directly to the Love Life ALS Foundation.”
