Sharon Dry is a Republican candidate for County Council. She is a Los Alamos native. Her three children and seven grandchildren have all attended Los Alamos Public Schools. ‘Los Alamos has been a safe and wonderful place to live, work and raise a family,’ Dry said. The loss of many local businesses and reasonable costs for home repairs and updates are two of the issues that concern Dry, she said, adding that she would like to revisit the LARES recommendations and resolve the issues around Sirphey. ‘I feel like I can make a difference,’  Dry said. ‘I’d like to see more diversity of opinion on the County Council.’ Photo by Bonnie J.
