The Los Alamos Daily Post has received calls and emails reporting that Donald Trump and JD Vance political have been vandalized in White Rock.
Gary Stradling, Secretary of the Republican Party of Los Alamos told the Post today that last Friday, Sept. 13, he and others erected two 4’ x 4’ political signs for Donald Trump and JD Vance in the designated political sign areas in White Rock – on Sherwood Boulevard across from the Post Office and Smiths and on Rover Boulevard north of the Meadow Lane intersection.
“By 9 a.m. the next morning these signs were both vandalized, with the one on Rover being spray painted in black (letters with the word) ‘Fellon’ and the one on Sherwood being hacked in two,” Stradling said. “We consider this defacement and destruction of political signs as characteristic of the fascist attitude of some of our political opposition, who oppose free speech and candid expression of the values and principles of traditional America. These seem to lean instead to violence and defamation, cancellation, and suppression of those they oppose.”
Stradling added that, “The strongly supported candidacy of Donald Trump and JD Vance across this nation, and our endorsement of their values of Republican representative government, have a right to be heard, debated, endorsed, and voted on in fair and open elections this election season. We encourage all like-minded citizens of Los Alamos to rally together, and encourage those around them, to vote for the conservative values that may make America Great Again, by supporting Donald Trump and JD Vance this election.”
The Post received an email Saturday from a reader reporting disrespectful signs around town.
“Several signs of Trump behind bars have been erected in Whiterock and Los Alamos, she said. “Although no one has damaged those disrespectful signs, someone broke and tore apart a Trump Vance sign in Whiterock showing hate.”
