Chair
Republican Party of Los Alamos
Today is Election Day and I urge all citizens to educate themselves on the issues, national and local, and exercise their sacred right to vote. Nationally, issues such as the economy, inflation, border security, immigration, energy, national security, and free speech are on the ballot.
Locally, lack of support for our small businesses and transparency in our government continue to be serious problems. I keep hearing from people who are moving out of Los Alamos due to the cost of living and no options for home ownership. When the Council votes to raise the cost of living, we risk losing a vital segment of our community, the working class in our service industry, schools and churches.
As you vote today, please consider the direct impact of the candidates’ actions on local issues. Please re-elect David Reagor for County Council!
Please join us for our Election watch party tonight, 7 p.m. at Open Door Bible Church. Bring a snack to share.
Our Central Committee meeting/Thanksgiving Potluck will be 6 p.m. Nov. 21 at Open Door Bible Church. Bring your favorite dish.
