Regulation And Licensing Department Charges Albuquerque Nightclub ‘Knockouts’ With Violations Of Liquor Control Act

SANTA FE — Based on the events (shooting) that took place Dec. 18 and 19, 2023, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department announced it has filed charges against G-12 Entertainment, Inc., doing business as Knockouts, an Albuquerque nightclub  at 311 Central Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

The business faces fines, suspension, or possible revocation of its liquor license once administrative proceedings conclude.

The Alcoholic Beverage Control Division has found evidence showing the business to have committed the following violations:

  • Minor on a licensed premises
  • Selling or giving alcohol to a minor
  • Two counts of selling alcohol to an intoxicated person
  • Improper lighting of a licensed premise
  • Obstruction of the administrative process of the Liquor Control Act

All licensees charged with violations of the Liquor Control Act are afforded due process including the right to present their case at an administrative hearing before a hearing officer. A hearing on this matter has been tentatively set for Jan. 25, 2024.
