Registration for the Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) Preschool program is now open. The district has preschool at all five elementary sites. The 4Y program will be five days a week next year, Monday – Friday, on the same schedule as each elementary school.

A child who is 4 years of age prior to 12:01 a.m. MDT on Sept. 1, 2024 may enroll for preschool for the 2024-2025 school year. Click here for more information and to register.

Preschool students not only learn core subjects such as reading and math, but also participate in events at the school sites, including special classes, such as Art, Music, PE and Library. There is no charge for tuition, snacks or lunch.
