PAC 8 News:

For the 6th consecutive year, PAC 8 will be teaming up with the Los Alamos Teen Center to offer the Summer Film Intensive Program. Open to youth ages 13-18, this three-week program will take participants through all of the steps in the process of creating an original short film—screen writing, camera operation, production planning and location shooting, acting, editing, and numerous other aspects of the film process. Students will write, produce, and star in multiple original short films. 

Scholarships are available, no student will be refused for financial reasons.The program is being made possible by generous donations and a grant from the Delle Foundation.

This year the SFI will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 1-18, at PAC 8 and Teen Center. Click here to register. 

PAC 8 has been teaching students media production for almost 30 years. PAC 8 was the first step for students who went on to successful careers in video and commercial television. Former PAC 8 students now have successful careers in Hollywood, Denver, Albuquerque and other places. One worked on a Harry Potter film and several Jurassic Park films.
