Gubernatorial candidate Rebecca Dow

From the Rebecca Dow For Governor Campaign:

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES — Republican Rebecca Dow officially filed her candidacy Tuesday to run for governor of New Mexico.

Along with her filing, Dow submitted 2,139 petition signatures gathered all across the state from volunteers and everyday New Mexicans. 

Dow issued the following statement: 

“It is an exciting day … one step closer to defeating MLG, taking back New Mexico, and restoring the jobs and liberties that have suffered under countless government regulations and mandates.

“We as candidates should be motivated by the potential for increased opportunities for New Mexicans more than anything else– definitely more than political gain or celebrity status. I don’t know if that holds true for everyone in the race, but I know I have dedicated every second and every resource I have to effect change for the people of New Mexico who deserve better.”
