It’s back! Every Wednesday through July 23, White Rock Branch Library will host its second annual Read with a Ranger series.
Special guests from the community – physicists and firefighters, police officers and garbage truck drivers, a nurse and a construction worker, a fish hatchery manager and an animal control officer – will read picture books and lead activities focused on their areas of expertise. Some will even bring their specialized vehicles.
Kids age 4 to 4th grade are invited to enjoy an afternoon getting to know more about the community and all the wonderful people who live here.
Schedule:
- June 25: Read with a Garbage Truck Driver;
- July 2: Read with a Police Officer;
- July 9: Read with a Fish Hatchery Crew;
- July 16: Read with a Nurse; and
- July 23: Read with a Construction Worker.
