Pyramid Café announces its new location at 157 Central Park Square, next to Pet Pangaea. The space was formerly the location of Time Out Pizzeria.
Owner Ziggy Rzig said the eastern part of the restaurant, facing 15th and Nectar streets, will feature Pyramid’s freshly prepared foods and take-out options.
He has plans to convert the western-facing part of the restaurant, opposite Rigoberto’s, into the Los Alamos Cantina. The restaurant will serve tapas and much more.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the great food that Pyramid is known for, as well as offering a new cantina concept in the community,” Rzig said. “We ask our loyal customers for their patience as we embark on this relocation and expansion. We are excited to see everyone soon!”
Rzig, who is from Tunisia, has owned and operated Pyramid Café in Santa Fe and Los Alamos for about 20 years. Pyramid is known for its North African, Mediterranean and Greek cuisine.
While there is no projected opening date at this time, renovations in the new space are underway. The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce will announce the Grand Opening date as soon as possible.
