Purgatory announces the long-awaited opening of Purgatory Express (Lift 1) for lift-served mountain biking Thursday, June 29.

After an epic snow year, the high country trails at Purgatory are ready to roll.

Next week, Purgatory will host the Big Mountain Enduro national race series and invites everyone to catch the high-speed, adrenaline-fueled action of all-mountain riding at its finest.

Purgatory caters to all types of riders, from the top professional mountain bikers and teams to newbies learning on the fun and flowy Shangri-La beginner trail. Purgatory’s Bike Park features podium-quality terrain for all abilities and serves as the gateway to the San Juan Mountains.

Power Kids is the only season pass in North America that grants unlimited free skiing and riding to all kids 12 and younger, no purchase required or strings attached. This applies to mountain biking in the summer and fall with free unlimited mountain bike uplifts.
