Public Voices Opinions on Possible Locations and Designs for White Rock Library

Staff Report

Community members are in the White Rock Town Hall Complex until 8 p.m., viewing the three possible design concepts for the new White Rock Branch Library at Piñon Park.

Each person is being asked to rank their first, second and third choices for the library site including the advatages and disadvantages of their favorites. The public also is being asked to expplain the design features they like and dislike most in the three design concepts. 

The White Rock Library/Youth Activity Center is an approved project budgeted within the FY2013 Capital Improvement Program funds.

A Design/Build contract was awarded to Bradbury Stamm, teamed with RMKM Architects, at the Council meeting Dec. 17, 2013. The design will return to Council for approval in the spring 2014, after completion of the public input process. The project is to be completed by May 2015.
