Public Meeting On Loma Linda Road Improvements June 1

COUNTY News:

Thursday, June 1, the Transportation Board and Public Works Department will hold a public meeting to discuss the reconstruction improvements on the Loma Linda Road Improvements Project.

The project consists of the following streets: Loma Linda Drive, La Tierra Road, and La Mirada Circle. These are local roadways in Los Alamos County and can be accessed via NM 502 (East Road/Trinity Avenue) to Diamond Drive to the intersection of North Mesa Road and Loma Linda Drive. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of asphalt surface, new curb and gutter, valley gutters, sidewalk, ADA ramps with detectable warning surfaces, lighting, and drive pads will be replaced as necessary. 

The project is currently in the design phase slated for construction in early 2024 with completion in Summer 2024. Subsequent communications will be shared with impacted residents prior to construction, as project details and schedule are finalized.  

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers (1000 Central Ave.), via Zoom and will also be streamed live via http://losalamos.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.
