SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Education Commission (PEC) will hold its regular PEC meetings for June 10 and 11.  

The PEC work session is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10.

The regular PEC monthly PEC meeting begins at 9 a.m. Friday, June 11. 

Both meetings will utilize a Zoom Webinar format. Zoom Webinar links and phone numbers are located on the PEC Agenda and on the PEC website (below) for members of the public to access the work session and the meeting.

SIGNING UP FOR PEC OPEN FORUM  

The Commission has made special provisions for members of public who would like to speak during the Open Forum portion of their meeting. The PEC Chair will determine the length of Open Forum, and persons who wish to be heard are asked to join the meeting between 8:45 and 9 a.m. to sign in via the Chat option at the bottom of the screen.

Simply type your name, organization you represent if any and the topic, and indicate that you would like to speak during Open Forum. If you are only able to join via telephone, please join the meeting no later than 8:50 a.m.

As a phone participant, you will be asked to identify yourself if you wish to speak.

At 9 a.m., the sign-up for Open Forum will be closed.
