During the follow up discussion regarding economic development planning and budgeting for 2013-2017. Councilor Fran Berting moved, seconded by Councilor Vincent Chiravalle, that Council approve the Economic Development Fund Program Priorities as described in Attachment A with the potential for making changes as new developments require reevaluation of the global picture and approve associated Budget Revision No. 2013-12 in Attachment B.
Councilor Fran Berting amended her motion to the suggested motion provided in the Staff Report. Councilor Vincent Chiravalle accepted the amendment.
For the record the motion now reads:
I move that Council approve the Economic Development Fund Program Priorities as described in Attachment A and associated Budget Revision No. 2013-12 in Attachment B.
The motion passed 4–2; Councilor Vincent Chiravalle and Vice Chair Geoff Rodgers opposed.
Councilor Mike Wismer moved, seconded by Councilor Vincent Chiravalle, that the County Council direct staff to place an emphasis on initiating the process to improve the
A-19 core infrastructure as outlined in this agenda documentation page 125 Phase 1.
Councilor Vincent Chiravalle offered a friendly amendment adding: and that staff bring the master plan for the A-19 development to Council for adoption.
For the record the motion now reads:
I move that the County Council direct staff to place an emphasis on initiating the process to improve the A-19 core infrastructure as outlined in this agenda documentation page 125 Phase 1 and that staff bring the master plan for the A-19 development to Council for adoption.
The motion passed 6-0.
