projectY cowork: Networking For Women In Business June 8

projectY cowork News:

A free networking event for women in business from all over Northern New Mexico will be held at projectY cowork Los Alamos from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 8 at 150 Central Park Square.

This is an opportunity for business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs who identify as women and non-binary to meet and exchange ideas.

“Networking is a vital part of running a business,” projectY cowork Membership and Program Manager  Alice Holtzclaw said. “Whether you’re looking for resources, new customers, or moral support, simply having a face-to-face conversation can start you on a path you never would have considered before.”

Drinks and light snacks will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring business cards if they have them. Although the event is not sales-oriented, Holtzclaw recommends attendees have an elevator pitch about themselves or their work ready: “Just a sentence or two about who you are and what you do can really start a conversation.”

Since its inception in June 2016, projectY cowork has hosted hundreds of entrepreneurial events attracting individuals from across Northern New Mexico. In addition to various membership options and punch card passes to the workspace, projectY also allows non-members to reserve its 10-person conference room and event space for after-hours and weekend use.
