projectY cowork News:

Long-time projectY cowork Los Alamos member Karen Paramanandam began working at projectY when the space opened in 2016. She is the business development manager at SunPower by Positive Energy Solar and works with residential and commercial clients to understand and find the best fit for their energy needs.

“I’ve been involved with projectY cowork almost since the founding of the space,” Paramanandam said. “It’s a great way to network and meet people … as a remote worker, I think that’s important … it’s one of those great assets the community has and I’m happy to be able to take advantage of that.”

Paramanandam uses the space to work, meet with clients, and has hosted informational after-hours sessions. She also regularly participates in community events, including the Small Business Saturday Kiosk Mall during which projectY opens its doors to local businesses and branch offices that don’t necessarily have a storefront location.
