ProjectY Cowork, Century Bank Announce ‘Working Local’ Scholarship … Now Seeking Applicants

projectY cowork Los Alamos announces that the application for the “Working Local” Scholarship sponsored by Century Bank is now open.

The $500 scholarship, a flexible stipend to be used at the local coworking space located in the heart of downtown, will be awarded to an individual living or working in Los Alamos.

Those interested in applying should fill out a short application found on the projectY cowork blog at www.projectYLosAlamos.com. Applications will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 21.  

“Century Bank wants to give back to the local business community through this scholarship, as we pride ourselves in being committed to the people and communities in New Mexico,” Century Bank VP/Branch Manager Karen Easton said. “I have actually held frequent meetings and worked out of projectY myself, in advance of opening our local branch here in Los Alamos. It’s been a phenomenal resource and we want to give that opportunity to someone else as well.”

Century Bank opened its Los Alamos branch in October 2019. This newest branch will complement existing branches in Santa Fe, Espanola, Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Rio Rancho.
