A private funeral service to honor the life of New Mexico State Police Officer Darian Jarrott will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

The services will be held at the Lordsburg High School Football Field (Maverick Stadium) in Lordsburg. Immediately following the service, Ofc. Jarrott will be escorted to Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg for a private burial. 

To adhere to public health occupancy requirements, seating is limited to the family of Officer Jarrott and his New Mexico State Police family. Unfortunately, NO other law enforcement agencies outside of New Mexico State Police will be allowed to attend the funeral.

The public may show their support by viewing the service via a live stream on the New Mexico State Police Facebook page or KOAT Facebook page. If any law enforcement agencies would like to send a video/photo tribute for Ofc. Jarrott’s family, email them to Public.Relations@state.nm.us.
