COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities reports that power is out throughout the entire Los Alamos townsite.

Both tie circuits are open and Department of Public Utilities linemen are responding.

Crews will attempt to restore circuits 18, 17 and 14 first to bring power back to the downtown area, Eastern Area and the wastewater treatment plant.

Strong winds have toppled trees in both Los Alamos and White Rock and safety is DPU’s first priority in efforts to bring power back to the community.
