COUNTY News:

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) reports that Los Alamos National Laboratory’s (LANL) substation that feeds the Los Alamos townsite lost power as of 7:42 p.m. today.

LANL crews are investigating.

DPU electric linemen are on standby.

Once LANL restores power, DPU linemen will re-energize the townsite one circuit at a time.

The estimated time for power to be fully restored is unknown at this time.
