Postdocs Invited to Deal Stream Summit

The first New Mexico Postdoc Industry & Entrepreneurship Exploration Day event is set for 11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa.

New Mexico Postdoc Industry & Entrepreneurship Exploration Day aims to help New Mexico postdocs from Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and the University of New Mexico explore opportunities outside of academia or the national laboratory setting.

At this pilot event, New Mexico postdocs are invited to learn about industry and entrepreneurial opportunities in a venue where entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, start-ups and corporate development and new business development executives are present.

Lunch and transportation will be provided.

RSVP is required; email Shandra Clow at clow@lanl.gov by COB Tuesday, March 27.

The event is held in conjunction with Technology Ventures Corporation’s (TVC) Deal Stream Summit (DSS).

TVC’s DSS is focused on starting, building and financing research-based technology from the national labs and fostering entrepreneurship and the creation of start-ups in industry.
