Three longtime Los Alamos residents have joined together to open a new business called Property Management And Repair Group (PMRG).

Jim Hall has lived in Los Alamos since 1976 and is deeply involved in the community.

“My wife Janet and I have owned rental property in town until recently and over the years built an excellent team of workers with extensive experience and strong capabilities in remodeling, repair and maintenance,” Hall said. “Based on a desire to continue to support this team, I have joined with the senior member of the team, Luis Ontiveros, and our business manager Jennifer Heineman to start up this new business. Our mission is to provide quality, responsive and responsible support for homeowners and small businesses who need quality and reliable work done on their properties. Our workers have been with us for years and are covered by workman’s compensation.”

In addition to being part owner of PMRG, Ontiveros is the crew foreman. His background includes 15 years of maintenance, remodeling and repair experience.

“I have led this crew whose members include Jezer Chavez and Cesar Bejarano in remodeling and providing repair services for as many as 200 property units at a time,” Ontiveros said. “We possess a wide variety of skills and can provide home and business owners with prompt, professional results in almost any area of maintenance and repair.”

Heineman rounds out the new partnership, she is an associate broker for the property management and serves as business manager.

“I have lived and worked in Los Alamos for over 40 years, and I love this community and its people,” she said. “Most of my work life has been in the private sector in construction and bookkeeping. Almost all of it as owner or part owner of businesses. This new venture blends both the construction aspect, office management and helping our clients maintain, improve or repair their property.”

Heineman added, “The men that I am fortunate to work with are very experienced in their fields as well and I feel as though we have all the skills necessary to be a valuable asset to the community.”

PMRG offers a subscription program in which the home or commercial property owner pays a one-time $50 sign-up fee and then $20 per month payable in a $240 yearly fee. Subscribers receive priority service at discounted pricing. Services include such needs as gutter cleaning, toilet replacement, dryer vent cleaning, furnace filter replacement, sprinkler system installation/repair, smoke detector installation/battery replacement and much more. Subscribers also receive 24/7/365 emergency service.

“We can handle pretty much all maintenance and repair needs with the exception of electrical and plumbing,” Hall said.
