The second week of April is being called Tomasz Robak week! Why?
Because Los Alamos Arts Council and the Los Alamos Community Winds are collaborating to bring concert pianist Thomasz Robak’s superb artistry to Los Alamos, for three wonderful performances of beloved piano compositions. The community will be impressed with the diversity of repertory and the energetic artistry of this emerging professional. Donations at all performances are encouraged.
Los Alamos Arts Council’s Brown Bag Show will feature Robak at noon Wednesday, April 11, in Fuller Lodge. The program will feature Brahms, Schumann and Liszt. The program is free.
Please note the Brown Bag Performance in April is the second Wednesday of the month. Normally, Brown Bag Performances are on the first Wednesday.
Robak will return to Fuller Lodge to perform a solo piano recital at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, which will include additional and different repertory.
Finally, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Crossroads Bible Church, the Los Alamos Community Winds will feature Robak in Prokofiev’s fabulous Concerto no. 2.
